Every Divine by Design creation is individually designed and handcrafted in my Newfoundland studio using genuine gemstones, carefully selected materials and close attention to the small details that make handmade jewelry feel truly personal.

You are not limited to the gemstones currently shown in our Divine by Design collections.

I regularly source genuine gemstone beads from trusted suppliers in international gemstone centres and markets, including Jaipur, India, Hong Kong and China. If you have a particular gemstone, bead size, colour, cut or natural variation in mind, I will be happy to research the available options.

Availability, quality and sourcing time can vary—particularly for rare, unusual or highly specific stones. I will always discuss the options, estimated costs and expected time frame with you before ordering special materials.

Custom Designs Within My Specialty

I specialize in handcrafted jewelry made with genuine gemstone beads, pearls, sterling silver, 18k gold-filled and rose gold-filled components, premium silk cord and other carefully selected jewelry findings.

Divine by Design is an artisan gemstone jewelry studio rather than a traditional bench-jewelry workshop. I do not create custom precious metal settings for loose or faceted gemstones, set stones into rings or mountings, resize rings or provide jewelry repair services.

If your vision involves beautiful gemstone beads thoughtfully designed into a bracelet, necklace, choker, anklet or pair of earrings, you are in exactly the right place.

How the Custom Design Process Works

  1. Tell me about your idea.
    Share the type of jewelry you would like, the gemstones or colours you love, the intended recipient and any meaning behind the piece.
  2. We discuss the possibilities.
    We will consider gemstones, metals, sizing, construction, comfort, budget and any personalized details.
  3. I source special materials when needed.
    If your design calls for a gemstone or component that is not currently in my studio, I can investigate suitable options for you.
  4. You approve the plan.
    Before work begins, we will confirm the proposed materials, design, price and approximate completion time.
  5. Your jewelry is handcrafted.
    I will create your piece carefully, one step at a time, and prepare it for its new home.

Custom jewelry often represents far more than the gemstones from which it is made. It may celebrate a new beginning, honour a loved one, connect generations, commemorate an anniversary or quietly remind its wearer of something deeply personal.

Since every commissioned design is created for an individual person, I do not maintain a catalogue of custom pieces for duplication. Each design begins with its own conversation and develops into a piece with its own meaning.

As new custom creations are completed, selected pieces and theirstories may eventually be shared here—with the customer’s permission.
